Yesterday I birded Port Angeles and Sequim. I had planned a few hours
around Port Townsend, but the wind and rain aced that. So, I headed home
early and did a little birding in Edmonds (next post).

Highlights for Port Angeles and Sequim

1) Northern Mockingbird still present on Peabody between 10th and 11th
at 10:00 am. Bird likes the Holly bush/tree about halfway between 10/11
(near alley) on west side.

2) At Ediz Hook if found Rock Sandpipers (2) and a lone Black Turnstone
with a few Black-bellied Plovers. They were on the South side of the hook
about .3 mile past the stop sign.

3) On way to Three Crabs I saw two Trumpeter Swans on the East side of
Towne Rd about .5 miles before it crosses Anderson Way.

4) At the corner of Graysmarsh Lane and Port Williams Rd there was a
very large flock of Blackbirds and Starlings. Among them was a female Rusty
Blackbird in nonbreeding plumage.

Had 67 birds for Clallam County.

A great day birding on the Peninsula.
