Alas, we had a Varied Thrush crash into a window last week with unfortunate
results. I took a few snaps and put it in the freezer in case anybody wants
it. Does anyone with connections to bird specimen collections want the bird?

I'm wondering if they were just more concentrated in the snow in some
places. When I was noticing so many of them in Birch Bay yesterday, I was
driving through the neighborhoods/properties and I was noticing them in many
different yards/properties but never more than two at a time. One stretch
seem to have them about every 2-3 yards.

I had several Varied Thrushes in my yard with the snow. Then, as the snow
disappeared, so did the Varied Thrushes.
