Hi Tweeters,

Following a tip from Becky Kent, I found six WESTERN BLUEBIRDS today
(1/24/12) along Westside Highway (SR 411) just north of Kelso. Becky first
noticed these birds on 1/22. From where Fisher's Lane intersects SR 411 go
north about 0.3 miles to a pullout on the river (east) side of the road and
the birds were using exposed perches to hunt the open area between the
railroad and the highway. Similar habitat continues for about a half mile
north with additional pullouts on the river side. This is a very busy road,
so please pull completely off and be careful.
