Birders,
Some may be interested in this, especially those that bird Vantage during migration periods. The following is an exchange I had with Grant County PUD (the now owner of Getty's cove):

>From Grant County PUD: "The Cove Recreation Area, formerly called Getty's Cove, will be open to the public in April of this year. Between now and April we will be working on upgrades to the site to get it ready for public use. Additionally we have nesting bald eagles at the site and they are entering a critical nesting period so we will not be allowing public access to the site until April. Once the site is open, the public will be allowed to view the eagles from a reasonable distance. "

This should make another nice stop for people birding Vantage area during migration.
