I saw a Short-eared Owl around 6pm near Discovery Park's south meadow. It seemed to come in to investigate my Saw-whet toot whistling and landed in one of the large deciduous trees along Oregon Ave. Barn Owls have done the same investigation in the south meadow and other parts of the park. I want to go try to see/hear some Saw-whets, Great-horned, and Barred Owls at the park if anybody can point me to where they might be seen it would be very appreciated.
