Hello, all,

This morning in Seattle's Discovery Park before 10, a flock of about 200
PINE SISKINs included at least one COMMON REDPOLL and one or two
AMERICAN GOLDFINCHes. They were in alders near the buildings on the
north side of the south meadow, but didn't stay long. Continuing west,
crows were yelling at a BARRED OWL. At West Point around 11 (a bit
before high tide) were a couple SURFBIRDS and three SANDERLINGs. Off
shore was a COMMON LOON, among else.
