Hi Tweets,

Had some time today to bird around Seattle today. Checked several sites
along the West Seattle waterfront. Nothing exceptional but had 8
RED-THROATED LOONS, 3 PACIFIC LOONS, 2 RHINOCEROS AUKLETS, and 1 COMMON
MURRE at Constellation Park. Also had 53 BRANT between several sites on
either side of Alki Point. I only went as far east as the dock at Duwamish
Head and thus the only rockbirds I saw were 5 fly-by BLACK TURNSTONES
(missed the flock of Surfbirds).

I decided that I hadn't heard anything about the gulls at Cedar River
(Renton) for a while, so I decided to check it out. Not huge numbers of
gulls but good diversity: CALIFORNIA (1), HERRING (3), MEW (4), RING-BILLED
(6), THAYER'S (2), WESTERN (3) with 74 GLAUCOUS-WINGED *mutts.*

I stopped by Stan Sayres Park on Lake Washington to see the flock of geese:
CANADA (5), GREATER WHITE-FRONTED (4), and *taverni* CACKLING (1).
