hi all ... a group of us hung around the Bunting/Flycatcher area all
morning ... at various times there were me, Art, Tait, Tom F., Jen,
and Vanessa ... all of us but Vanessa (who only had a brief stop on
her lunch hour) had many quick views of the Bunting ... while all of
us at one time looked for the flycatcher none of us found him ...

logistics ----------- those of us with cars just parked on the Lower
River Road shoulder at the spot of the now-orange-coned-off road ...
traffic was BUSY but there was just enough room to pull off the road
... I was first there and parked just passed the cones and
IMMEDIATELY I found the Bunting !!!!!!!!!! ... didn't even have time
to get my camera out !!!!!!!!! ... so that was the spot we all hung
out at for the next two hours ... the Bunting's habit was to flit
around in that area, singing quite often, and then he'd take off east
towards the field and the chain-link fence ... we did not follow him
... we just stood and waited along the road ... between 9:30 and
11:30 I'd say the Bunting came back at least 4 or 5 times ... we
mostly located him by his singing ... about 11:30 the singing stopped
and we didn't spot him again ... we all left by 1:00 ...

a VERY pretty bird !!!!!!!!!

BTW, there also was a Lazuli Bunting there which got us "bird-song
deaf" folks excited until we determined it was just a Lazuli ...
