On Friday 6/30 my son David and I found three Grasshopper Sparrows along the west side of the access road from Hwy 261 to Palouse Falls State Park. One bird was singing about 100yds off the road and about 0.5 miles in from Hwy 261. Two more were foraging along the edge of the road about 0.7 miles in from hwy 261.
David also spotted a female Gray Partridge along the east side of the road about 0.3 miles in from hwy 261.
