Subject: [Tweeters] Redshank attempt?

Hi Tweets,

I was wondering if anyone is thinking of driving down to Eugene to try for
the Spotted Redshank tomorrow (Sunday). As far as I can tell, the bird was
seen on Friday and was there were no reported sightings today, but I also
understand that this is a fairly reclusive bird and can easily hide or be
missed, and I've been to Fern Ridge and know how hard it can be to locate a
single bird.....

Anyway, if anyone is getting up early to drive down and has room for
another passenger, I would be happy to split up travel costs. With this
kind of appearance, I'm of the opinion that it's worth a try on the chance
that the bird could be there, and it's also a great habitat for viewing a
variety of waders. Anyone feeling lucky?
