Hi all -
After enjoying the Painted Bunting views on Saturday, I poked around other spots in eastern WA for the weekend, mostly being defeated by the heat.

One notable sighting to pass along - Sunday morning [7/8] in Davenport Cemetery, I was surprised to find a MOOSE sitting in the shade! Given that there's not much else in the way of cover for quite a ways around, I'd bet it will stay put until it gets a little cooler. Reminded me of the Waterville Plateau sighting from a WOS conference a few years back.

Now, how am I going to get this report accepted by the reviewers at E-Mammal?
