*Temporary Closures; Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge*

*Carty Unit; July 15 to July 23*

The Carty Unit of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge will be closed
Sunday, July 15 to July 23. This closure is required to resurface the Oaks
to Wetlands Trail. During this construction period both the Cathlapotle
Plankhouse and Oaks to Wetland Trail will be closed. The Refuge office on
the Carty Unit will remain open during regular business hours. The River
?S? Unit will remain open for hiking, wildlife observation, and
photography.

*River ?S? Unit; July 30*

The River ?S? Unit of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge will be
closed on July 30th, 2012 for bridge inspections. The closure will allow
crews to safely inspect all portions of the River ?S? automobile bridge
including underwater supports. During this closure, the Carty Unit will be
open as an alternate public use destination.
