Sad news indeed. I got to know Carole during the years that I compiled Washington Field Notes in WOSNews. I could always count on her for a good summary of what was going on in the southeast corner of the state. I even got to go birding with her on a couple of occasions. Carole was a great resource and a wealth of knowledge and will surely be missed by all.
