Subject: [Tweeters] Painted Bunting Update

Because we live directly behind the wooded area along Siwash Creek, here are
a few of our observations.

Yes, the Painted Bunting is still in the same location, but quieter now
(mostly buzzing/chirps), with the majority of sightings are in the low brush
along the road, and/or the trees and brush beside our house.

The easiest way to find him is to look for several birds chasing each other
in the low brush, which will almost always be the PABU trying to chase a Laz
away.

Early in the morning seems to be best, and way cooler! So far, we have
pretty consistent sightings around 8AM, but you might need to look 150' to
200' further down the creek, or in other words directly behind our house
which you can faintly see through the woods

We will try to keep you posted of any changes so you will not be
disappointed with a long and fruitless trip!

Thank you one and all for bringing this amazing bird to our attention!
