Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday July 12. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at
503-233-3976.

On July 10 a female RUFF was observed at Fern Ridge Reservoir. A
GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE was there July 7. The SPOTTED REDSHANK has not been
reported recently. The Indian Ford Campground CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER
continues to be seen. On July 6 a NORTHERN PARULA and a STILT SANDPIPER were
at Flores Lake in Curry County.

On July 8 a MOCKINGBIRD was on the North Spit of Coos Bay. An ELEGANT TERN
was seen July 9 on the beach on the Coos/Douglas County line. On July 9 a
COMMON TERN was at Seaside.

A WRENTIT was seen July 9 at the Tualatin River NWR.

Two HERRING GULLS were seen July 3 at the Redmond Sewage Ponds. On July 7
two CATBIRDS and three NORTHERN WATERTHRUSHES were along the Little
Deschutes River near Gilchrist. On July 4 a subadult ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK was
reported along Hwy 20 east of Brothers.
