The Lake Ballinger pair of bald eagles has a baby this year.?? The eaglet is fully feathered.???It remained hunkered down in the nest but would periodically come up to cry for food or to stretch its wings.? I saw neither parent.??

The nest is located in one of the tall firs on the Nile Temple golf course in Mountlake Terrace.???Stand on the grass next to the fishing?pier/boat launch in Ballinger Park and look east or ask one of the regular fishermen on the pier to point it out to you.?? An active opsrey nest on top of a cell phone tower?is visible when you stand in the pier and look southeast across the lake towards I-5.
