Dear Tweeters,

As the Painted Bunting is, bar none, my all-time nemesis bird, I figure
I might as well make what must be at least my tenth try for it, and first in Washington.

I live in the Skagit Valley along SR 20, so my place might be right along the way for anyone considering a try for this bird. Taking SR 20 is a lot more scenic and birdy than going by way of I-90.

I'd like to be there on site on Sunday at dawn, if possible, and would be happy to drive; you could leave your car(s) at my place.
