Friday the 13th around 6:00pm I spotted an osprey fishing and then a black
bellied plover feeding in the mudflats during the lighting storm. It was
about 30' east of the KGY building and about 20' from shore.
It was both hopeful and surreal watching the plover feed in the lightning
storm, poking in mudflats surrounded by signs warning of contamination.
