Subject: [Tweeters] Marbled murrelets still at Edmunds

I was at the Edmunds fishing pier around 5:00pm Sunday. There were
two MM's in breeding plummage about 150 ' out. The pair engaged in
synchronous diving/surfacing with brief stays at the surface. There was
also a MM in non-breeding plummage some distance from them but seemed to be
making the same circuit(or it may have been a juvenile--I didn't realize
they looked similar until I got back to the car). All three worked the
dock from the ferry side to the south end where they came to within 50' at
times. As I left a small group of Caspian terns was flying overhead and
vocalizing.
