I tried Boeing Ponds and 204th in Kent for shorebirds today - the little pond southeast of the big ponds at Boeing was almost completely dry with more vegetation than mud. I almost didn't see the Pectoral Sandpiper walking through the ditch ringing the pond, but it called as it changed spots, landing between a Spotted Sandpiper and a Killdeer. Nice to get a size comparison to help with the ID. Very pretty bird, and seen less than an hour ago.

204th - geese and starlings on dry groud with a lot of construction activity on the south side of the street on the east end of the big field where the peeps usually show. Don't know where all of that is going, but I hope we get some rain on that field while a lot of the habitat has some promise.
