Hi Tweeters,
The Black Phoebe was still there about 4:15pm on Wednesday afternoon, at the same pond - great find Doug! ?If you drive on the road that ends at Kite Hill, these are the last ponds you will drive by and see - about 1/4 mile from the end of the road, this is the pond on the left. ?I didn't see it when I walked by briefly again at 5pm, but chances are it was just getting out of the sun. ?Odds seem good that it will be there for the rest of the day, but after that, who knows?

I got to see some interesting behavior, including watching it cough up an "insect ball" and even saw it fly to the ground, where it was apparently sunbathing and thermoregulating, pic here:
