Hi Tweeters,
Bill and I spent the day birding in eastern Washington, mostly dodging a series of large thunder storms. When we finally arrived in Omak this afternoon the downtown area had flooded and several streets had to be closed briefly. Despite all this, while lunching at Gingko State Park (in the sun of the day) we spotted a small herd of Big Horn Sheep just north of the park boundary. Seems like every time we stop here there is something interesting to see. It was also very windy, so birds were hunkered down. About the only bird we saw in the that area was a Caspian Tern.
Cheers, Charlotte Byers, Seattle
