From 7:30 - 9 p.m. I followed, watched and tried to get some decent shots of the Mountlake Terrace Merlin young. Again, persistence and patience (the 2 P's) paid off. Got lots of great views, if not stunning photos! I mostly found the Merlins near 55th and 54th Aves W, between 234th and 232nd Sts SW. I'm still amazed at all the church-going we've seen the Merlins into this year - mainly roofs and gravel parking lots though, not in the pews! If the sun stays with us into this evening, the lighting should be great up there tonight - hope the action is, too.
