Yesterday an obviously diseased bird came to my
feeder. A juvenile with a very large and
grotesque "growth" on the right side of its
face/eye. It was very weak and had difficulty
flying and orienting although it eventually was
able to fly off the feeder platform to some
unknown fate. Pictures are at
