Hi Bird Lovers,

Today I spotted two LAZULI BUNTINGS on Hemmi Road 2 1/2 miles east of Hannegan. There is a side road you can park in, Hoag Lane; park way over near the corner near the Stop sign to get out the way of traffic. The buntings were on both sides of Hemmi Road. One often sings from the trees on the west edge of the field on the north side of Hemmi. The other one is usually about 500' east on the south side of Hemmi. They move around quite a bit, but are often at these two points. They don't sing all the time, so it can be a matter of luck to spot them.

I got a Lazuli here two years ago but missed them last year. This may become a dependable site.
