I am sad to report that this morning I found a dead male Lazuli Bunting along Pioneer Highway just north of Stanwood, within 3 blocks of where one has been singing the last 3 weeks or so. At one time a couple weeks ago, I though I heard 2 singing, but today, none. Curiously just 10 feet away was a dead Common Bushtit, same side of the road.
