Sorry all, knew soon as I hit the 'Send' that I forgot to say that our
sighting of this male CSWA was, indeed off WA-SR12 and the road into the
Oak Creek Canyon is designated as 1400. This wildlife area is west of
Naches, WA. Diane Yorgason-Quin or Ken Brown will probably post more
information soon, but we did want birders that are in the area to have a
chance to relocate the bird. FYI, the bird initially responded while Ken
was trying to get a YBCH to respond. BTW, the number of LEWOs there was
also amazing! Time for my brain to assimilate all the good birds we saw
this class fieldtrip and recharge the phone. Thanks for the questions,
hope those that asked don't mind the broadcast response.
