At 3:30 this afternoon there was a BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT HERON that flew
around over the Gog-le-hi-te wetlands in Tacoma. The bird circled a couple
of times then flew off in the direction of the large trees across the
railroad tracks between the large antennas and sr509. I thought it landed
in the trees there but I was unable to relocate it.I knew right away what
it was because I saw my first Black-crowned Night Heron just a couple
weeks ago over near George off Frontage Road.

Got a couple of embarrasingly bad but ID-able photos.
