Re: Cassin's Finch in backyard


We have House Finches in the backyard all the time, but a few days ago we heard a new song, and looked out to see a Cassin's Finch at the feeder. Pretty little guy. I've watched the feeders for 20 years now, and this is the first Cassin's I've seen. Is it unusual here? The books say they like eastern Washington.
