Tweeters: Headed for a Pullman baseball tournament last night, ran into a few interesting birdsen route. At Lake Kachess close to the I-90 highway, a SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER wasflushed from the shore edge. After crossing the bridge over the Columbia River from the Vantage side, and taking the immediate right toward 26, found a GRASSHOPPER SPARROW close to the Hwy 26 turnoff. Then, at dusk, within 30 miles of andapproaching Othello from the west on 26, had two different COM. NIGHTHAWKS right along the road, my first this year.
