Nice day when the sun finally peaked out, but with a slight breeze, bird
numbers seemed low. Several of our summer visitors are still around and
will hopefully stay.

Western Kingbird (3) - around Crescent Pond
Lazuli Bunting (male) - Kite Hill
Bullock's Oriole - a pair on Kite Hill
Western Tanager (female) - Promontory Point
Also present were good numbers of Willow Flycatcher and Western
Wood-Pewee, lots of Cedar Waxwing, several Vaux's Swifts with the 4
swallow species, and Band-tailed Pigeon (3). A couple of families of
Bushtit were about while at least one pair was making a new nest.
