Birding my way home today from a great WOS conference, I found 3 FRANKLIN's GULLS in an irrigated field at the west end of Lamont (off SR-23). On Saturday, I saw BLACK TERNS and a single FORESTER's TERN at Sheep Lake, and a lone TUNDRA SWAN in Lincoln County, about a mile north of the county line.

Kudos to the WOS board (Cindy McCormick deserves a special hat's off) and all who planned and organized the conference, and especially the field trips (Scott Downs, Tim O'Brien, Jon Isacoff, et al), Despite the unseasonable weather, it was terrific. Thank you.
