Dave and I have had one or more in our Port Townsend neighborhood for a
month or so. We heard the calls for a long while before finally spotting a
Flycatcher atop a Doug Fir. Their call carries so far, it can be hard to
pinpoint exactly where they are. Last year at this time, we also had one or
two in the area. We love hearing them!

There are reports of Olive-sided Flycatchers showing up in the residential
areas of Port Townsend over the last few weeks, one just down from my house.
Are they occurring commonly in other areas around the state? Hard to miss
the calls once you figure out what they are.
