The Walla Walla area gets Rufous, Calliope, Black-chinned regularly, and Anna's rarely. If you are really interested in migrating to Washington you should probably get my book, Birds of Washington State published by Lone Pine Press. The range maps cover the state and are more detailed than in books covering a larger area.

I am hoping to migrate to the northwest in the next year or so and Walla Walla is on my short list of potential new homes. I am very curious to know which hummingbird species are common at home feeders in and around the city? And at what times of year? I have the usual guidebooks, etc but after talking with folks in several states it seems published range maps are no match for first-hand accounts. Many thanks!
