I stopped again this morning (6/17)f about 7:30 at the Maulsby Mudflats on Everett's waterfront to check on Whimbrels. Nada. However I just got back from a second check at 1:45 and saw 4 in fairly close. After a short walk down W. Marine View Drive and back, they were already gone. The tide's are changing faster each day now (by about a foot a day) so I can't give any intelligent tide advice as to timing.

Did see 3 Purple Martin's by one of the "offshore" boxes, and heard two more, this morning. If you miss out on Martin's or Whimbrel's you can enjoy the many Ospreys. That's an Everett waterfront guarantee.
