On Saturday (6/16) I?photographed a male green-wiged teal at the far south side of the Edmonds marsh and a marbled murrelet in breeding plumage off the fishing pier.? The green-winged teal was still there on Sunday.? According to the Puget Sound bird book, neither bird should?be in Edmonds this time of year, but birds are not known for reading calendars or bird books.
