Thanks Kevin. Michael is out of town and I didn't remember whether he had
said anything about getting reports of the martins at the Marymoor gourds
from anyone else. Since the end of May we have not seen the martins at the
Marymoor gourds, nor have the Tree Swallows apparently nested there this
year. The gourds are just off the viewing platform and the end of the
boardwalk segments, out at the lake. This year the gourds are both on the
same post.

I (and Ed Siegel) saw a Purple Martin in the gourds at the "jetty"
(platform) the end of boardwalk section of the Audubuon Loop into Lake
Sammamish on a Saturday at the end of May (May 26th).

Much to the annoyance of the Tree Swallow in the next gourd: they were
activley mobbing it.

It was later seen feeding over the "Grassy Meadow".

I also saw a Green Heron on the river the same day.

Not sure if there is more than one set of gourds at Marymoor but there was
certainly a martin at that location.
