Hi Tweets
The e-Bird co-ordinator has the following points against the blackbird
being a Tri-colored, and I quote with permission:
"Median coverts not broad or white enough. No gray sheen to plumage. Lesser
coverts are orangy-red. And tail is not cocked in any of the photos.
The worn feathers of the median coverts of Red-winged Blackbirds at this
time of year can appear "almost white" as in this one".
