To park safely in order to view the Purple Martins at the boxes in N.E. Lake Sammamish at East Lake Sammamish Parkway and 187th, turn from the parkway east onto 187th and park on the south (right) side of 187th. Then walk towards the lake on the south sidewalk to the stairs descending to your left. These will take you to a tunnel under the parkway. Yesterday my wife and I had a good view of the PMs while standing next to the Honey Bucket that will be evident when you emerge from the tunnel
