Nest platforms?for osprey have been built on?structures?where a?nest?might otherwise present a problem.? For example, the osprey nest at the Meadowdale softball complex in Lynnwood?was originally built?by the birds directly on?the?metal housings for the?field lights.? That nest was removed last year and a nest platform was constructed above the light fixtures, where it presents no problems.? The osprey are currently nesting on it for the second year in a row.?? I wonder if something similar can be constructed so?osprey can safely nest on cell?phone towers. ?
