Hello All,
I wanted to make sure that everyone is aware that the birds included
in eBird Alerts and Rare Bird Alert e-mails are completely unvetted,
unless CONFIRMED is indicated next to the species. Unless there is
good evidence presented in the notes, it is often appropriate to adopt
a "wait and see" approach to these reports, unless you're planning to
be in the area anyway.
