One lone Emperor Goose was noted foraging at 11:40 AM on the small Island N of the Oyster House (Cline Spit County Park) in Dungeness Bay. The west 25-40 mph wind was nearly sending heavy surf completely over the island with a clot of gulls and another of cormorants huddled on the small space on top, but the goose seemed to be taking advantage of the waves to animatedly pick up food items from the rocky beach, probably algae and/or organisms.
