Last night, well after dark, I just got to my North Everett home with some groceries when I heard Snow Geese overhead. Then I saw them, a hundred or so, glowing white in the moonlight as they flew under Venus and Jupiter glowing brightly in the Western sky, and then past Orion - they were headed toward the Snohomish Valley.

About to go inside I heard a single Snow Goose honking on high, and looking straight up saw a small vee of about 50 birds pass over, again showing up white against the black night sky. But only one was honking. I cant remember ever seeing a flock of Snow Geese flying by silently, or with just one honking. So that was interesting.
