Tweeters, Thanks to Adam for posting earlier. This afternoon at the intersection of Wylie Rd. and Mann Rd. on Fir Island just adjacent to the Game Range property was an adult Ross's Goose in with thousands of Snow Geese. I was able to digiscope a couple poor photos. It could be that this is the same bird that was on Thomle Rd. in Stanwood 3 days ago. I understand many have looked unsuccessfully for the Thomle. ROGO. I did observe only 1 Cackling Goose in the entire Thomle Rd. flock and there was only 1 Cackling Goose (also Minima) in the Skagit flock today. (if that helps anyone guess movements or correlation...) A bit later when I drove back past today's flock, only about 1/2 of the original flock size persisted. Michael WillisonStanwood
