Hi all,

This past Sunday, Rhett Wilkins and I enjoyed a whirlwind but fun trip to the Blue Mtns of Oregon and Washington for some owling. We did well and were very fortunate to see 7 owl species all during the day.

Here are two segments. Please watch VIDEOS in HD (720p or 1080p) for BEST quality:

It was a special treat to witness a pair of GREAT GRAY OWL solidify their pair bonding. We got to watch them vocalize, silently chase, hunt and preen each other. The courting pair was so gentle, sweet and affectionate towards each other. Even with all this activity, the elusive birds were so silent, secretative, and stealthy!

Not my best quality but I got documentation of some of the courtship:

The other video features a cryptically, plumaged owl. At what point in the video, do you see the owl and can identify the species?
