Today at noon there was a gorgeous male Eurasian Green-winged Teal with a wide, bright-white horizontal stripe at Renton's Black River Riparian Forest pond, near the right end of the pond. No Great Blue Herons today, and no eagles. The Eurasian Grn-winged was swimming in circles w/ a number of other Green-wings. I could hear a Hutton's Vireo singing but never could see it. Lots of birds were singing including 2 Brown Creepers, and several Ruby-crowned Kinglets.
