Hello Tweeters.
This Bird,an Adult Coopers Hawk been here in my yard since the beginning of
October.I had a vague look on this bird one time flying true my yard.but I
can tell there is no birds on any feeders that he is hiding. But this time it
was early in the morning around 9.oo AM ,I saw something bid flying in to my
Back Yard settling on the tree next to my patio. What is so strange he sits
where fife Suet feeders hanging. The behavior I would think would be a young
immature Hawk because NO BIRDS WOULD COME TO ANY OF THIS FEEDERS SITTING SO
CLOSE TO THE FOOD. He LOOKS HUGE IN THIS TREE.
And so it was I STANDING ON MY KITCHEN Window (I measured 16 feet)I had few
nice plant's on the window, what I SLIGHTLY MOVED,BUT HAD GOOD ACCESS TO
TAKEN MANY PHOTOS .HE SAT FOR 20 MINUTES AND FLEW STRAIGHT DIRECTION.I
looked but COULD NOT SEE THE BIRD.
He is around today I had birds at 7.00 AM TO 9.OO AM BUT FEW AFTER THAT.it
IS ALSO TIME THAT ALL MY MANY tOWNSENT'S LEAVING ,THIS WAS THE MOST OF THIS
SPECIES ,A FLOCK OF 25 BIRDS.that IS GOING ALSO FOR THE BIG FLOCK OF Yellow
Rumped Warblers about the same amount. We only had maybe 3 birds
occasionally. Is good I file all my sightings the time ,Date year and how
many birds .This files been listed since 1987 filed by Patrick Sullivan
Continue by me from September 2007 you now.
