Hello Tweets,

I encountered at least two Common Ravens in Lincoln Park between 4 and 5 pm this afternoon. They were calling loudly, with unmistakable resonant "quork"s ringing through the forest. One flew overhead, giving me a clear look at his diamond-shaped tail. They were quite active, flying through the forest, stopping in various trees for a few minutes, then flying on to the next. I heard two clearly and may have heard a third, although with the amount of movement I can't confirm more than two.

(Our resident Bald Eagles were also feeling pretty frisky when I was out there; see flickr.com/photos/trileigh for salacious details.)

Good birding,
Trileigh
