Birders,

Cliff Mass of the UW is reporting a pretty significant storm developing Sunday and Monday. Read about it on his blog here: http://cliffmass.blogspot.com/2012/03/major-coastal-storm.html . It?s not going to be nice on any ocean beach from northern Oregon to well north of Vancouver Island. There will be 70 knot winds off Astoria to over 100 MPH at the north end of the Island. Inland waters from around Port Townsend to well up into Canada and out the straights will have high winds also. This includes the Boundary Bay and Bellingham areas. This is a significant storm which will develop explosively in a relatively short time.
