Wow, that was a really interesting video of the owl making itself look so
slender and more like a branch when it saw the other bird.

Maybe the short-eared owls do something similar ? if they see an eagle or a
larger bird, maybe they transform their face. I haven?t seen them do it with
harriers. It?s hard to catch the SEOs with their ear tufts straight up like
that, I?ve only seen it a few times.
